yeah isnt it a bad trade if the nuggets give camby for kwame brown? since brown su*ks a$$ and is a failure.. so why would they laugh if they are gonna trade camby for him? or are they laughing because the lakers proposed such a dumb trade?

The whole point of that trade for the Nuggets perspective is to dump salary and get under the luxury tax. Brown's contract is for only one more season, while Camby's has 3 or 4 more years.

That deal would solely be based on financial reasons, not talent. Camby is by far the better player, and the Nuggets would have some very unhappy fans if they did it.

if you were a gm wouldnt you laugh at someone who isnt even a solidified starter in the league who has pretty much been a failure in the league, the only thing he can do is play defense... kinda, proposed for the defensive player in the league and the 2nd best weak side shot blocker in the league. i would laugh even if i wanted to save money or not
They are laughing at the Lakers proposing such a trade. I mean, REALLY!! Would you trade the defensive player of the year for an often-injured never-reached-his-potential first-pick bust?
They're probably laughing about how stupid the trade offer is. The Nuggets would have to be drunk, drugged, and half asleep before they would even think about the trade. Camby won Defensive Player of the Year and it was well deserved because of his stellar play in the post. The only way they could look at the trade is if Camby began to start stacking up injury after injury like he had a couple of years ago, but that doesn't look likely because he looks very healthy right now and the Nuggets will do everything possible to keep it that way. The other problem is that the Pacers are talking to the Lakers about trades that involve Kwame Brown, but no one really knows how serious the talks are.
i haven't heard about this recent possible trade, but if it was presented by the lakers to the nuggets, i too would laugh. though i am a big lakers fan, to get camby, who just won defensive player of the year, for kwame would be the steal for the lakers and they would be the one's laughing all the way to another championship
It sure seems to me that they're laughing at the ridiculousness of the trade. Even if they want to get rid of a big salary, Camby is wayyy better than Brown and why would they get rid of him?

Duh! It's a dumb trade. The Defensive Player of the Year for Defensive Dud of the Year.

At least Camby has the ability to put down a jumper, Kwame has one shot the dunk and sometimes he messes that up.
